Our work on Spintronic Bolometer by Dr. Leif Bauer and Team Published in Nano Letters

A new paper authored by Leif and the research team, titled "Spintronic Bolometer for High-Sensitivity THz Detection," has been published in the journal Nano Letters. This publication presents a significant advancement in infrared detection technology.

The work addresses the challenge of developing efficient detectors in the terahertz (THz) spectrum, a domain historically dominated by analog systems. The paper introduces a nanophotonic bolometer that operates as a digital detector by exploiting thermally activated transitions between two discrete magnetic states. This method provides a "digital" response, offering an alternative to conventional analog detection.

This collective effort represents a notable contribution to the field and establishes a foundation for continued research in high-speed, high-sensitivity THz sensing.
